Teaching Algorithms to Develop the Algorithmic Thinking of Informatics Students

Modernization and the ever-increasing trend of introducing modern technologies into various areas everyday life require school graduates with programming skills. The ability to program is closely related computational thinking, which based on algorithmic thinking. It well known that thinking students work algorithms understood as a systematic description problem-solving strategies. Algorithms can be considered fundamental phenomenon forms point contact between mathematics informatics. As part an graph theory seminar, we conducted experiment where solved knight’s tour problem using backtracking method observe change in students’ motivation learn at higher cognitive level.
